LEFTEROS / PERSONAL NOTES
A whole board, out of the browser

A friend keeps the notes for our tabletop chronicle on a Sticky Studio board: sticky notes, images and lines between them, on a canvas. Over more than a year the board grew so much that you no longer read it, you only scroll it. I wanted all of it somewhere I could read, search and print without touching the original.
So here is sticky-board-export: one Python file, standard library only, that takes the board's JSON and gives you:
- an Obsidian vault, with an index and one note per sticky, text block and image, and the connections as links;
- an Obsidian Canvas, with the same layout, colours and lines;
- a PDF, with the whole board on an A3 page and then every section with its notes as coloured cards.

Without touching the board
I did not want something that connects to someone else's board. The script works on a copy of the data, which you save yourself from the browser's Network tab, and it cannot change anything. One command and you are done:
python3 sticky_export.py board.json --download-images --overview board.png --pdf
The PDF needs a Chromium; without one you get the HTML and print it from any browser. The repository has a demo board to try it on before running it on your own.
What exactly comes out, and how it sorts the notes into sections, is on the sticky-board-export page. MIT license.
