Coming soon: RecMeets

Something new is in the works: RecMeets.

It is an app for Linux and Windows that records your meetings — Teams, Meet, Zoom, whatever you run — and transcribes them on your own computer. No bot joins the call. No audio file is uploaded to someone else's cloud. Your microphone and everyone else's audio are recorded on separate tracks, and at the end you get a transcript with speakers, chapters and a player.

The project is being built right now and will be released soon. The foundations are in place, recording on Linux works, and the Windows side, the new interface and the installers are what comes next.
