Keyboard Layout for Omarchy 1.2.2: four layouts and backups

Keyboard Layout, my plugin for the Omarchy bar, got a big update: 1.2.0, followed the same day by the 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 fix releases. It still shows the active layout (EN, GR, DE…) and switches it with a click, but now it does a lot more:

• Up to four layouts with variants, from xkb’s 750+ pairs — e.g. gr(polytonic) — with search and reordering.
• Every keyboard switches together — receivers, laptops, macro pads — so they never drift apart.
• More switch keys, or none at all if you prefer a Hyprland keybinding or the bar.
• Precise input.lua edits: only the live values change; your comments and other settings stay untouched.
• Backups and restore from the panel or the command line, keeping the newest 10.
• A warning when the main layout is not English, so hyprlock does not lock you out.
• On stock Omarchy installs (1.2.2) it keeps Omarchy’s defaults, moves Compose when needed and ignores media-key pseudo-keyboards. Thanks to tlxq and betterthinker for the report and the PR.
• An optional toast on every layout change, an accent colour while off the main layout, and moving the widget without a restart.

It only touches input.lua (when you press Apply), its own settings and its backups — no system files, no root.

Already installed? omarchy plugin update lef.keyboard-layout. Your settings are read as they are.
