LEFTEROS / SERVICE ARCHIVE
Remote technical support

Remote support uses an internet connection to the affected system so that a technician can troubleshoot without travelling to the premises. The original service required the customer’s participation to establish the session.
How the session works
With the user’s assistance, the technician can view the desktop and work on software and network problems. The user can observe the session and disconnect it. Remote access still requires an appropriate tool, permissions and a trusted support relationship; it is not an unconditional security guarantee.
Typical support tasks
- Home and office network configuration, including Wi-Fi security.
- System maintenance and Windows updates.
- Malware removal and software installation or configuration.
- Removing unwanted pop-ups, adware and spyware.
- Email and application troubleshooting.
- Printer, scanner, camera and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Performance diagnosis and optimisation.
- Configuration and user guidance for new software or hardware.
- Backup assistance and PC-to-PC data migration.
- Investigation of errors and unresponsive desktops.
Physical installation and hardware repairs may still require an on-site visit.
“A Windows 10 update disrupted older thermal printers. A LEFTEROS technician connected remotely, wrote a script to roll back the update and restored the changed spooler files.”
