Cydia app, iProxy — fight for tethering

If you can no longer share Internet to a laptop or another device, I found iProxy on the internet. It is Apache-licensed, by tcurdt, hosted on GitHub. The author says a paid Apple developer can compile it and ad-hoc share it (about 100 devices) to people who are not jailbroken. Jailbroken devices can run it without that dance.
I localized it into Greek and put it on our iPhone Cydia repository at HellasProject.
iProxy is free. It does not give you carrier tethering. It gives the next-best thing: a SOCKS5 proxy on the iPhone — what NetShare used to do before it vanished from the App Store, and what commercial jailbreak tools also sold.
It is more clicks than real tethering. Instructions lived inside the app (and on a screenshot on the original page).
