LEFTEROS / PERSONAL NOTES
Apple’s value is over $500 billion
5 March 2012 / Lefteris Iliadis / SomniusX
Historical text from HellasProject (2009–2014). It is not current advice or a present-day service.
Apple exceeded the $500 billion mark for the first time in its history. That fact fairly gives it the place of the company with the largest value worldwide, and if we judge from iPad and iPhone sales it will probably keep it for quite a while.
It is no accident, besides, that until today only five other American companies have managed to exceed $500 billion in value. They are Exxon, Cisco Systems, Intel, General Electric, and Microsoft, the company’s former rival.
It is even possible Apple’s profits may reach $40 billion. An amount other multinationals have as their total turnover.
