Will MobileMe be free?

That is at least what they claim at MacDailyNews, which got a whisper in the ear that something like that would happen in the near future.
Let’s remember that MobileMe is a bouquet of Apple services which it charges $99 a year.
Personally I do not believe it will become free (think of all those who have already paid) but it is more likely they will create a small kind of account that will be free but cut down, and if the user wants they can move to the full paid package.
Of course all this still belongs, for now at least, in the same category as iWatch, since there is no solid suspicion of such a move.
