Greek Cydia

You can have Greek in Saurik’s Cydia by following Sepsis’s guide on iPhoneTech.gr.

How to have Greek in Cydia

Difficulty 3/10.

You need:

• a jailbroken iPhone
• a tool that can browse the filesystem, such as DiskAid (Windows/Mac)

First download the translation files: Greek files for Cydia – 8kb (648 downloads). Sepsis made the translation and tested it on an iPhone 3GS.

The zip contains a Greek.lproj folder. That folder has to land inside Cydia on the device.

Connect the iPhone and go to:

private/var/stash/Applications/Cydia

In DiskAid use Copy to Device and pick Greek.lproj, or drag and drop it into that folder.

When Cydia opens it should speak Greek.

The iPhone’s system language must already be set to Greek.
