A first look at iOS 7

Historical text from HellasProject (2009–2014). It is not current advice or a present-day service.

One of the things we expected to see in the WWDC 2013 keynote was iOS 7.

Most of the rumors turned out true: the new version of iOS is very minimal and uses flat elements.

It really looks like something different from Apple, and still has a lot of handsome pieces.

On Apple’s site you could see more detail about what the OS could do, and “try” how it would look through a few videos there.

Among the many additions in iOS 7 is Control Center — jailbreak users already knew it as SBSettings — plus AirDrop and, at last, a block list for unwanted calls.

All of this was available to developers from that day, and to everyone else from the autumn.
