LEFTEROS / PERSONAL NOTES
Bring color back to iTunes 10
6 September 2010 / Lefteris Iliadis / SomniusX
Historical text from HellasProject (2009–2014). It is not current advice or a present-day service.

These last days, besides Ping and other stories that mama Apple announced, they spoiled the taste a bit with colorless iTunes 10.
I am not saying it is not good and fast. I believe they rewrote it in Cocoa instead of the old way. But… color, folks, color.
Plenty of people complain because we simply like our OS colorful, which is why we have customized it to death. So some people took it on and made an amazing package that literally restores everything (see photo below).
Creator of the package is Damien Erambert, and on his site (erambert.me) you will find the .dmg to download (71mb).
Download the iTunes 109.dmg package (71mb)
I also include the video he made, showing the look changes live and the method, so you do not make a mistake and then shout “I have no iTunes anymore, it’s your fault!”
You can download the video at 960x600 H.264 from here
