Messaging for Omarchy
23 August 2026 / Lefteris Iliadis / SomniusX
Messaging brings four web clients — Slack, Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp — into a small Omarchy panel.
Each client is enabled independently. A bar badge shows how many are active, and the panel opens them without hunting through tabs.
Separate sessions
Each client launches in a Chromium app window with its own profile, separate from everyday browsing. Sessions persist between launches. Without a compatible browser, it falls back to xdg-open.
The plugin stores enable flags and URLs, not passwords, messages or tokens. URLs can be changed for alternative services, subject to validation and size limits. Configuration changes reload automatically.
