Themes, sounds and more – WinterBoard and the repo

Historical text from HellasProject (2009–2014). It is not current advice or a present-day service.

It has been a while since WinterBoard themes were a big deal. Partly a relief: every Cydia source refresh used to take forever.

Now on an iPhone 4 with enough RAM, after a year-plus away (2G and 3GS included), I put WinterBoard back.

I refreshed the Greek Cydia repository on HellasProject.com: dropped packages that do not apply to newer iOS, kept native Greek for anyone still on iPhone OS 2.x (yes, I have a friend — Commando).

I added my own SMS and Unlock sounds, plus some transparency for sliders/call buttons.
